Declaration

Lord, I know deliverance comes from You.  May Your blessing be on this school and May You bring deliverance to this school.

Psalms 3:8 (NKJV)

8 Salvation belongs to the LORD.  Your blessing is upon Your people.  Selah

We are starting a new blog entry called Walking Wednesdays.  This comes from ‘Prayer Walking at Schools’ the children’s ministry at RLM had done. It was wonderful to take groups of children and walk around the schools while praying.  Whether you choose to speak these prayers or declare these scriptures while walking around the school campuses or just from your home is up to you.  You can do it alone, with your family or with any group that feels we need to pray for our schools.

Things to pray for:

  • Students and teacher’s salvation
  • Student’s families
  • Student’s safety
  • Peace in the schools
  • Custodians and Cafeteria workers
  • Bus drivers
  • Bullying to stop
  • Students will learn and do well in school
  • School to be filled with the Holy Spirit
  • Unity in the school
  • Principal to have wisdom in their decisions
  • Students to stay on a Godly path

That is just a small list of areas that need prayer.  Each week we will add prayers & declarations to help you intercede for your school.  Parents, teachers and students can use them to pray for their school.  Churches can use it to intercede for the school systems around them.  In order to cover a school in prayer, you must intercede for three groups: the students, the teachers and the parents.  You can use these prayers or develop your own from them.  In order to use the prayers, place the name of your school in the blank and then plead the truth before God.
