Wanted to share Nessi’s letter from out monthly newsletter with you…
God has done so many things that I almost don’t know where to start. So I guess the best place to start is the beginning.
Most of you know that Freedom In Christ (FIC) was birthed out of Vicki’s own brokenness. But now her “baby” has grown up and is taking off on its own (with Mom at hand). It is hard to let go and share the responsibilities with others, to trust them with what God has envisioned you with, something that you have carried and worried over for so long (you mothers know what I am talking about). But just like that it’s time to stand on your own, and FIC is doing just that.
So let me introduce you to our ‘toddler’, The FIC Ministries “TEACHING CENTER“.
This is our 8th year teaching Freedom in Christ (8- the number of New Beginnings). We have taught in churches, living rooms, fellowship halls, cafes & motor homes. But we BELIEVED God when He said someday we would have a building. And we do!! God has blessed us and the money and support came in. After all, it is His ministry first! And He knows how to supply.
Now we are growing ever stronger and stepping out in faith again. We have moved to 224 East Canal (2+2+4=8, New Beginnings). Many have asked about our “Church”. Unless God says otherwise, WE ARE NOT A CHURCH! What we are is a TEACHING CENTER. We have added new classes and teachers.
We have both day and night classes and a library of resources available for private study. Some classes even have a children’s teacher so that they can learn the Word along with the parents.
We don’t know where God is taking us, but we do know “ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE…ONLY BELIEVE”. Come and grow with us!!!!!!!
